PVC-O Pressure Pipe

PVC-O Pipe is a high-performance oriented PVC pressure pipe manufactured from PVC-U pipe blanks through a physical biaxial orientation process. The molecular chains are oriented in both the axial and circumferential directions, significantly enhancing the pipe’s pressure resistance, toughness and structural performance without chemical modification. With a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent resistance to water hammer and internal pressure fatigue, and high ring stiffness, PVC-O Pipe enables thinner walls and lower weight while maintaining reliable pressure performance. It is particularly suitable for municipal high-pressure water supply, long-distance water transmission, high-elevation water systems and high-pressure agricultural irrigation.

• High Pressure Rating — Up to 2.5–4.0 MPa, with high pressure capacity for the same nominal size

• Excellent Water Hammer & Fatigue Resistance — Molecular orientation improves resistance to water hammer and internal pressure fatigue, with better low-temperature toughness than conventional PVC-U

• High Ring Stiffness — Ring stiffness can reach approximately 2–3 times that of conventional PVC-U at comparable specifications, providing strong resistance to external pressure and ground settlement

• Lightweight Design — Thinner wall and lower weight at the same pressure rating, reducing transportation and installation requirements

• Potable Water Safe — Lead-free formulation suitable for drinking water applications and compliant with GB/T 17219
